Why see an osteopath?

Osteopathy is a gentle, non-invasive manual therapy that works on multiple levels of the body, acting on the fascia, muscles and skeletal system while re-informing the nervous system to optimize mobility and reduce discomfort.

Here are some common reasons for consultation:

Women's Health
PMS, painful periods, hormonal imbalance, fertility, pregnancy

Pediatrics

Infant torticollis, plagiocephaly, breastfeeding problems, colic, repeated ear infections

Shoulder Mobility

tension, tendonitis, capsulitis

Back & neck Pain

upper back, chest and lumbar discomfort

Hips, knees, feet

recent injuries or chronic pain

Digestive Disorders

bloating, heartburn, constipation, stomach aches

Stress & Tension Management

headaches, stiffness, sleep disturbances, bruxism, breathing patterns

"I sent my friend A for a treatment. She was having chronic sharp back pain and self medicating. Doctors told her she shouldn’t sit long, might need surgery. After the treatment she said she had slept all night without needing to move. “Is this my body?!” She exclaimed. The pain has not returned three weeks later. Rose is skilled, experienced and compassionate."
